NOOR ALHAWA
At Noor Alhawa, food safety is not a compliance checkbox — it is the operational foundation of every commodity category we handle. From the moment goods leave the origin farm to the point of delivery at the destination port, we apply internationally recognised food safety standards to ensure that every shipment meets the expectations of our buyers and the regulatory requirements of their markets.
Our quality management approach spans all four commodity categories — Dates, Spices, Pulses & Grains, and Fresh Produce — with category-specific protocols for physical inspection, laboratory analysis, cold-chain maintenance (fresh produce), moisture control (dates and grains), and pesticide residue compliance (spices and produce). We work exclusively with suppliers who maintain their own certifications and are subject to periodic third-party audits.
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points — applied across all commodity handling and packing operations to prevent food safety hazards at source.
International food safety management system standard — [PLACEHOLDER — Cert. No.]. Covers the full supply chain from primary production to consumer.
Halal-certified handling and processing for applicable commodity categories — [PLACEHOLDER — Cert. body]. Essential for GCC, Southeast Asian, and Islamic-market export.
Dubai Municipality approved facility and processes — [PLACEHOLDER — Approval No.]. Mandatory for all food-handling and packaging operations in Dubai.
We conduct and commission third-party laboratory testing on all commodity categories before shipment to confirm compliance with international food safety standards.
Moisture content is tested on all incoming date, grain, and spice consignments using calibrated moisture meters and oven-drying methods. Results are reported against buyer-specified maximum moisture limits.
Total viable count, Salmonella, E. coli, and mould & yeast testing are conducted through accredited third-party laboratories. Testing protocols vary by commodity category and destination-market requirements.
Pesticide residue screening (MRL compliance), heavy metal analysis, and aflatoxin testing are conducted for spices, grains, and pulses. Certificates of analysis are provided with every commercial shipment.
Our facility and handling protocols meet the strictest food hygiene standards required for export to regulated markets in Europe, the GCC, and beyond.
